This is the second in a series of modules, the reader should have first reviewed the SAM9G46 and SAM9M11 Cryptographic Peripherals - Part One module. This presentation will highlight the main features of the Atmel SAM9G46 and SAM9M11 hardware encryption peripherals which are the AES, the DES and the TDES. The applicable encryption and decryption standards will be discussed and the most commonly used operating modes will be reviewed.
